India Trade Mission

Through India’s Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts under the aegis of Development of Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Impact Communications Ltd. was the Trade Mission Lead and Coordinator to recruit and coordinate 160 TOP Canadian Companies (buyers, wholesalers, distributors and retailers) for a trade and buyers mission to India that occurred in January, March and April 2006.

This was one of the most exciting buying opportunities in the world. Featuring producst from 900 permanent show marts—covering all areas of production: textiles, furniture, glass, metal, decorative accessories, lighting, tabletop, bath, essencia, candles, jewellery, fashion, bedding, pillows and 500 Indian manufacturers.

Impact was subcontracted by Arun Agarwal, our strategic alliance and owner of S2S Resources. What is S2Resources? S2Resources is a buying house, inspections and logistics agency based in India, which provides comprehensive sourcing services to International Buyers.
